Though words are necessary I write this with disbelief and a knowledge that no words are adequate to console at this time. Peter was to me the very essence of what friendship means. We shared a passion for books and writing, for people and the world around us. Peter could make you feel special, he was full of optimism and encouragement and you felt in a comfort zone in his company. I will miss him dearly and remember him in many ways throughout my days. My heart goes out to his family as they deal with this untimely loss. Donna..his spirit is with you all. Your alliance was one that spanned many areas of life ..you were truly partners. Your connection to me during these last trying months is one I treasure. Peter both brought and received joy through all his many endeavors. He loved his work, but his dedication, motivation and inspiration sprung from his love of his family and friends.
